-Because of the privilege people are
taking advantage of it. They look down on
those agricultural workers as if their work
is much bigger and harder than that of the
farmers. Also, Filipinos consider farmers
poor because the occupation is known for
having a lower income. Farmers are the
poorest because they lack materials and
equipment for farming. Also, lack of
money: no money to expand their fields
or use the latest seeds and technology.

-Farm businesses experienced
disruptions to production because of the
lowered availability of labor and other
inputs, and output prices were affected by
changes in demand for commodities in
certain market segments. They shared
that the pandemic had brought out certain
issues, such as mobility, but since
farmers are recognized as essential
workers, their agricultural work was
generally unhampered. They also don't
have control over the health crises and
calamities that are coming and destroying
their work. 
-Our capability to help the farmers boost
their needs when it comes to farming by
raising funds and donating some
materials to them.

My Commitment: We are all part of the earth, which is our

home. I commit to thinking about how my
choices will affect other people. In fact, I
will encourage people to use technology
responsibly and help agricultural workers.
Because they are our provider when it
comes to foods. This module made me
aware of the pre-existing nature of our
economy and how appreciative we are of
it now. Let's think carefully about how to
defend our rights and stop abusing the
lower people that aren’t really low.
