Dear Founders families,

We are delighted to share with you that GFS will be celebrating the UAE’s 51st National Day on Monday
28th November 2022. We have planned a series of events and activities to celebrate and mark this special
occasion within our school community.

Our celebrations include themed lessons and activities throughout the day, performances for students
and Emirati parents and opportunities for our learners to visit the UAE heritage attractions offered by the
external provider, Heritage Express. Our appreciation goes to our Emirati parents and the GFPA for their
support and generosity in organising these events.

All students are invited to come to school dressed in the colours of the UAE flag or wear UAE national
dress on this day. It promises to be a day full of vivid colours and engagement as we celebrate the
wonderful culture of the UAE. We look forward to sharing photographs and videos of our celebrations
with you on our social media channels.
