WORK INSTRUCTION

1. PURPOSE

To establish identification of fingerprint of all PDLs committed to this institution and all
those to be released after serving sentence.

2. SCOPE

This work instruction applies to the proper identification of PDL’s fingerprint from
ARPDMD and different colonies.

3. DEFINITION OF TERMS AND ACRONYMS

PDL – Person Deprived of Liberty

Bertillon Marks – personal distinguishing marks such as height, weight, hair complexion,
moles and gang marks.

File Number – continuous sequence of number of PDL committed in this institution.

FPE - Fingerprint Examiner III

OBS – Official Booking Sheet

FPC – Fingerprint Chart

4.2 Counter checking of PDL fingerprint
charts and carpeta.
4.2.1 Received carpetas and fingerprint Chief, ID Carpeta/FPC
charts from the OIC, ID Section ARPDMD
Annex for counter checking
4.2.2 Verifies PDL’s fingerprint taken at
ARPDMD Annex thru his fingerprint affix
at the Commitment Order, checks PDL
prison number, File number and
information at the fingerprint chart/index.
4.2.3 Posts at official log book for proper FPE II Carpeta
turned-over to the Photography Section all

4.3 Fingerprint identification of PDL due for
release
