Heartless

Heartless is a romantic novel by Jonaxx. It is a story about a girl desperate to catch the attention of a boy she likes.
The novel starts off with the girl, Coreen, in love with a boy named Noah. She was very infatuated with him that she
would do anything just to please him. Eventually, she became close with Noah's older brother, Rozen. Little did she
know, Rozen was already obsessed with her. Thus began the love triangle between Noah, Coreen and Rozen.

Ang globalisasyon ay ang pagkakaroon ng nag-iisang malaking pamilihan sa larangan ng ekonomiya. Sa
pamamagitan ng globalisasyon, inaalis nito ang hangganan ng pagpapalitan ng produkto at serbisyong pang-
ekonomiya upang maging isang buong ekonomiya ang bawat bansa kung kaya borderless society ang tawag sa mga
bansang kasapi dito. Kasama ang pagpapabilis sa transportasyon at komunikasyon sa globalisasyon upang maging
mas Madali ang daloy ng mga produkto. Isa ang buwis at taripa sa mga nararapat na tanggalin sapagkat kasama ito
sa mga pang-ekonomiyang hadlang. Sa pagbaba ng taripa, mas maluwaga na makapaglalabas ng mga hilaw na
materyales ang Pilipinas tungo sa ibang bansa nang sa gayon ay magiging tambakan ng mga yaring produkto ang
bansa upang maibenta sa local na pamilihan. Ang Globalisasyon ang pinakamainam na solusyon sa sobrang
produksyon sa larangan ng ekonomiya.

 Global Warming: Risk to Humanity

Nowadays, we are experiencing different phenomenon which includes, typhoon, earthquake, tsunami and
the most common phenomenon that is popular to almost across the globe, the global warming. Global
warming is an aspect of climate change, referring to the long-term rise of the planet's temperatures. It is
caused by many problems, and some of those are because of human beings. Knowing that human-beings
are the main factor that causes global warming, there are many activities that they do. One of those causes
is the increasing of concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, mainly from human activities
such as burning fossil fuels, and farming. This activity results into the formation of carbon dioxide (CO2)
that became one of the aspects that destroy the ozone layer. Deforestation is also one of the causes. It is
the clearing/cutting of trees that produces oxygen and helps on decreasing the greenhouse gas.
Transportation gases also became one of the factors that cause the risk of global warming. Why? Because
the vehicle releases smoke that adds up to one of the greenhouse gasses. Pollution is also a cause of the
said problem. Overfishing is also one of those causes because fish is one of human’s main sources of
protein and a lot of the world now rely on this industry. Due to the amount of people buying and consuming
fish, there is now a reduced amount of marine life. Overfishing has also caused a lack of diversity within the
ocean. Manufacturing factories, buildings, and infrastructures also belongs to the causes. They are one of
the main factors that produces greenhouse gases. Agriculture occupies a lot of green space. This means
you can destroy the local environment to make room for agriculture. These animals produce many
greenhouse gases such as methane and also produce large amounts of waste. Factory farming contributes
to even more climate problems because it causes additional pollution and allows us to keep more animals.
These causes build up then forms global warming where greenhouse gasses blanket the Earth because it
got trapped by the sun’s heat. As the heat got trap inside the Earth’s atmosphere, many living things on the
planet will be affected. Their lifestyle will be affected. The change of climate will occur. Many living things
will suffer from uncontrollable heat. And many of these will truly become a big risk on changing the whole
environment. 26
These changes brought up many consequences that humanity faces throughout the system of this
phenomena. All of the said causes has a corresponding effect that surely affects each living thing on Earth.
One of those causes is the change in climate. As ocean temperatures rise, hurricanes become stronger
and wetter, which can cause direct and indirect deaths. Drier conditions lead to more wildfires, which pose
many health risks increase. High levels of flooding can spread water-borne illnesses, injuries, and chemical
hazards. The wildlife and habitats we love are being destroyed, leading to mass extinction of species.
Agricultural production could collapse, leading to global food shortages and famine.34 These effects can be
change as people will conduct actions to stop the increasing risk of global warming. There are many
solutions the problem that every people are facing. First, we must stop all forms of deforestation. Please do
not cut down any more trees. This only exacerbates carbon dioxide levels in the air. Instead, encourage
people to plant more trees and create a delicate balance in nature. Don't waste electricity because it has to
burn fossil fuels. Burning fossil fuels rapidly increases greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, contributing to
global warming. People can choose eco-friendly options such as solar power and power generation. Make
recycling and reuse a habit. Learn to reuse things properly instead of throwing them away.45 All of these
solutions will help people save the planet they are living. It will affect not only the living things on it but also
the environment itself. Preventing this phenomenon will give the safe and good quality of needs that will
help the people. Preserving the beauty of nature is important. This beauty will be in need for the next
generation that is why, every human-being must do very well on protecting it from those alarming
phenomena.
