2 My Family's Traditions

What are your family's traditions?

One of my family traditions is to celebrate one day before a birthday, we make a small
birthday, we shop for balloons, cake, and we give some presents, and the other gifts we
give his or her birthday (the next day).

Another tradition is to open gifts days before Christmas, we have a “Christmas portal” in
that portal my aunt recollects gifts, the portal is in my aunt’s closet, when I was little my
aunt said that she was Santa’s assistant, so she received gifts before Santa comes to
our house, and she give presents for the family ( more in specific to me and my
brothers), that tradition only works in the days like 22,23, and 24. Those days are the
only ones we could get any gift before Christmas morning. On Christmas morning we
open more gifts in the tree and not in my aunt’s closet. And the portal only opens in the
night and sometimes in the afternoon but is always in the night.

And another Christmas tradition is to play with the family on the 24th. We need to play
to guest the movie, we play with no talking, and we need to try to figure out what movie
is, and the first one who says what movie is first wins.

Another tradition is that my uncle and cousin bake some food to give in the 24-family
dinner, my aunt is the one who bakes cakes, cookies (everything sweet) she only
makes the desserts, and my grandma, mom, aunt (my aunt of the portal closet) and my
cousin makes the meat or chicken, with other stuffs.
