BIG DAYS is the name of my business which is an event décor and management services
providing organization.

“BUSINESS PLAN”
 Vision:
My vision is that I want to see BIG DAYS to be recognized by everyone and to be on the top of
the chain of event décor businesses...

 Mission/purpose:
The missions of BIG DAYS is to make sure every event goes beyond just being mere success by
providing the best services.

 Objectives:
 Satisfaction of customers: To keep every customers satisfied by fulfilling all their
demands and making their event a big hit. An example would be a wedding. All
weddings are thrown to celebrate the union of a couple and their families. But every
couple will have a different vision for what they want. Some want a small, rustic
wedding and others want a 500-person, highly religious celebration. No matter the
scale, we will give our utmost respect and consideration when planning them.
 Expansion of business using social media: To expand the business by promoting
it on social media platform.
 Ease for clients: To make a website with a portfolio of all our work on it so the
clients can get ideas about what they want their event to be like and to book us
without having to come to our office.
 To build good relations: To make a good reputation in the society by building
good relations with clients, vendors and even other event planners.
 Minimum wastage of material: To recycle the material used in decorating,
keeping the wastage as low as possible.

 Strategies:
 Advertising strategies: A Press Release is a great way to get the attention of the
people who can help you further your goals. With a formal press release, you invite
local media to be a part of your event. You can also spark the attention of
influencers, new supporters, and brand ambassadors.
 Pricing strategies: To offer different packages and deals with low prices in the
start of the business to attract more clients.
 Cost strategies: to keep the total cost as low as possible by purchasing the material
that is used for decorations from the sources that provide it cheap and in quality.
 Relationships with clients: to keep the customers fully satisfied by providing
quality services and by fulfilling their demands.
 When serving distant regions, we will make sure to take care of transportation
expenses and to come up with a good logistics scheme in the case of an intense
schedule or an abundance of orders.
 Use of smart technologies: By using advances machinery tasks will be
accomplished more efficiently and by taking less time.

 Policies:
 Advance payment policy: The client must pay half payment in advance for the
events to fill out expenses.
 Conduct policy: The clients will be treated with respect without any discrimination
and same is expected of them.
 Confidentiality Policy: This policy will encourage transparency and trust with the
clients.
 Cancellation policy: If the clients want to cancel the bookings or want to change
the date or time, they must inform us at least one week before the event date.

 Procedures:
After the order has been made, there are few things to check. These are extremely important to
confirm your service.
 The first one will be noting the exact time and place of the event. With this you can
plan accordingly as to when to start doing the decorations.
 Next thing is the purchase of needed things which you don’t have. Some orders can
be extremely unique for which purchases comes into the scene. Like mostly
decorations are done using artificial flowers, but in some cases you’ll need fresh
flowers too. Fresh flowers needs to be purchased at the last minute as they end to
dry soon.
 The last thing to do is to set everything ready to start the work, this includes labor
availability also.

 Rules:
 Code of conduct: All employees must protect our company’s legality. They should
comply with all environmental, safety and fair dealing laws. We expect employees
to be ethical and responsible when dealing with our company’s finances, products,
partnerships and public image. All employees should respect their colleagues.
 Misuse of social media: Internal strategies or controversial political comments on
social media by employees is strongly prohibited.
 Healthy environment: Assurance of safe and healthy working conditions, social
relationships and no harmful effects of the work environment on the physical and
mental health of the employees is guaranteed.
 Confidentiality: the employees must not disclose any inside informations of the
customer’s data and the business strategies to anyone.
 No discrimination: BIG DAYS prohibits discrimination and harassment of any
type and affords equal employment opportunities to employees and applicants
without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or
expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status etc.

 Programs:
BIG DAYS will successfully fulfill its objectives by:
 Hiring assistants: Without adequate labor, the right decorations cannot happen, so
sooner or later, you’ll need one or two assistants.
 Pricings should not only fix a value for the service but also make promotions with
it.
 Giving discounts: Discounts and offers in prices can be a good promotional idea.
 High contract circle: High contract circle will allow you to obtain your resources
easily without any difficulty.
 Time management: Completion of the work on time and on the said quality is a
promise that you will make to your customers

 Budget:
A proper budget plan is very crucial to keep a balance between income and expenses. Budgeting
is a process that tells you how and where to spend your money in your business. The capital that
is brought into the business will be spent in such a way that it help the business in earning revenue.
 For larger events, the venue will incur the largest cost from the entire budget.
Because this will be such a large spend, we will have to carry out all budgeting best
practices for this process.
 Transportation expenses will occur for taking material to the site of event.
 Obtaining liability insurance to cover instances of breached contracts and
dissatisfied customers.
 Giving salaries to the employees will be a monthly expense.
 Website maintenance is an expense that will help promote the business.
 The amount that is left from the capital will be saved for the future to cover
unexpected expenses.
 Yearly income statements and balance sheets will be maintained through a
software.
