protects orangutans and their forest homes.

● Why they should donate - what is the need?
○ Orangutans are on the verge of extinction
○ The organization is actively fighting against deforestation and
fragmentation which are two major problems that not only put the
orangutans at risk but also other animals and indigenous communities.
○ If immediate action is not taken by 2060 there will be an 80% decrease in
the orangutan population.
● Where their donation will go
○ Go specifically to projects on the ground in Borneo and Sumatra where the
orangutan sanctuaries are.
■ Funds with go towards feeding, rehabilitation of the orangutans,

$15 Dollars - “support the rescues of orangutans displaced through
deforestation or stolen from the wild”
$30 Dollars - “You can support Wildlife Protection Units to patrol and
protect rainforests, keeping orangutans safe”
$100 Dollars - “You can help legally secure more orangutan habitat,
keeping precious ecosystems safe from the bulldozers”
$500 Dollars - “You can help fund rehabilitation programs, giving
displaced and captive orangutans a second chance of life in the wild”
