The Indian Premiere League, alias IPL, is a Twenty20 cricket league played among 10
teams, based on seven Indian cities and three Indian states. The league’s inaugural
edition was held in 2008 by the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) and is now held
every year from March to May. It has an exclusive window in the ICC Future Tours
Programme. There have been 15 seasons of the tournament and the current title holder
is the newest franchise Gujarat Titans which was led by Hardik Pandya.
 The IPL was originally founded on September 13, 2007 on the back of India’s T20
World Cup 2007 win. The first season was slated to start in April 2008, in a "high-profile
ceremony" in New Delhi. BCCI vice-president Lalit Modi, who spearheaded the IPL effort,
spelled out the details of the tournament including its format, the prize money, franchise
revenue system and squad composition rules. Rajasthan Royals went on to win the
inaugural IPL edition, captained by the spin-wizard Shane Warne.
In the 15 editions of IPL so far, Mumbai Indians have won 5 of them and is considered to
be the most successful IPL franchise, followed by Chennai Super Kings who have won $
titles. These two teams are led by India stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Mahendra Singh
Dhoni respectively.
The Kolkata Knight Riders have won two titles and four other teams, Rajasthan Royals,
Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans have won the title once.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a prominent and prestigious cricket league that

With the increasing popularity of the game, the need for a single body to oversee
association football became apparent, at the beginning of 20 th century to be precise. And
that when FIFA came in. The Fédération internationale de Football Association (FIFA) was
founded in the rear of the headquarters of the Union des Sociétés Françaises de Sports
Athlétiques (USFSA) in Paris in 1904. FIFA is headquartered in Zurich, and is an
association established under the Law of Switzerland.

The first president of FIFA was Robert Guérin. Guérin was replaced in 1906 by Daniel
Burley Woolfall from England, by then a member of the association. The first tournament
FIFA staged, the association football competition for the 1908 Olympics in London was
more successful than its Olympic predecessors, despite the presence of professional
footballers, contrary to the founding principles of FIFA.

The FIFA flag has a blue background, with the organization's wordmark logo in the
middle. The current FIFA flag was first flown during the 2018 FIFA World Cup opening
ceremony in Moscow, Russia, and has been used ever since.
Besides its worldwide institutions, there are six confederations recognized by FIFA
which oversee the game in the different continents and regions of the world. National
associations, and not the continental confederations, are members of FIFA. The
continental confederations are provided for in FIFA's statutes, and membership of a
