Name: Sidney Rojas

Overview
For this week’s application activity, you will complete a talent worksheet with someone you have a
significant relationship with and then answer a few questions that follow.

Instructions
Follow the steps below to complete this activity. When you have completed all sections of this
activity, follow the instructions in your course to submit the document for grading and feedback.

Part 1: Talent Worksheet

You learned in your Life Skill Lesson this week that everyone has been given a unique set of gifts
and talents. We come to earth with some, but many come with time as we grow and develop them
through practice and life experience.
To complete you talent worksheet, take a moment to list ten talents you have in the left-hand
column below. They can (and should) range from personal talents (i.e. having self-control,
forgiving easily, sustaining Church leaders, being cheerful, etc.) to artistic and creative talents (i.e.
singing, baking, storytelling, gardening, etc.).
Next, find someone you have a significant relationship with (i.e. brother, spouse, parent, close
friend, etc.), and ask them to list ten talents they believe you have. Do not reveal to them the list
of talents you created for yourself. Also, give them space and time to think about your talents and
write them down so they can hand them back to you for review.
Record those ten talents they listed in the right-hand column of the worksheet below.

Part 2: Reflection
After completing the worksheet, look over the talents listed in both columns and answer the
following questions.
1. Are there any specific talents listed in both columns? Which ones?
Joker, languages, creative and acting .

2. Are there any talents you listed in your column that your friend or family member did not
list? Which one? Why do you think your friend/family member did not list them?

Yes, they didn’t mention skating, persevering, I learn quickly, gastronomy, customer service. I
think because they are facets of my life that are known by many people.

3. Are there any talents your friend/family member listed for you that were not on your own
list? Which ones?
Yes. They mention Dance, writing, patience, active listening, researcher, leader, public speaker.
I think that reason it’s because I’m don’t feel so secure about them.

4. What new insights have you gained from this activity?

Sometimes we do not notice that there are things that we do that can be admired by others and
that we are not paying as much attention to it. I always want to keep doing and trying to
do new things, and in this way I discovered new talents that can bless my life and the
lives of others, relationships with others are essential for this purpose.

When you have completed this activity and answered all the questions, follow the instructions in
your course to submit the document for grading and feedback.
