MATTER AND ITS STATES


Matter is anything that has a) a mass, and b) occupies a space
a) mass = a measure of the amount of material the object contains
b) Volume = a measure of the space occupied by the object

Matter exists in three states:


-Solid
-Liquid
-Gas
