Writing the title of a Thesis

One of the critical part of thesis writing is the proper way of writing a title. The following
are guidelines in writing the title:
1. The title should be clear and distinctively stated.
2. The subject matter and the variables being evaluated should always be included as
part of the title. Choose terms that will summarize the variables if there were many
variables being studied.
3. The title should be short. It should not exceed 20 words
4. It should not contain acronyms.
5. Some form of title phrasing such as Study of …, “An analysis of …, “A Preliminary
Study of ….” Should be avoided.
6. The title should not contain formulas and symbols.
7. In case the tittle contains more than one line, it should be written like an inverted
pyramid and all words should be capital letters.
