 Antistatic self‐levelling epoxy floor system
DESCRIPTION APPLICATION

ChemFlo AS is a pigmented, ready-to-use, solvent-free
2-component floor coating system of high-grade epoxy
resin. ChemFlo AS used with the conductive layers
ChemFlo AS Primer, produces tough, electrically
conductive coatings according to DIN 51953 /
DIN EN 1081 / DIN IEC 93, which are easy to clean and
exhibit a good level of resistance to fuels and lubricants,
most solvents and many chemicals.
USES
ChemFlo AS is used as a conductive surface coating
system for industrial floors with high demands in terms of
electrostatic discharge, especially in explosion proof
areas and fire protection zones.
Areas of application are chemical plants, places where
organic (flammable) solvents are stored and surrounding
areas, hospitals, operating theatres electronic
manufacturing, packing and others.
ANTISTATIC FLOORING SYSTEM
ChemFlo AS is used as a topcoat for the following
The A-component must be stirred for at least 1–2
minutes. Then the entire content of the B-component is
emptied into the A-component container and the two
components are homogeneously mixed using a suitable
electric stirrer (for at least 2–3 minutes). The inclusion of
air in the mixing process is to be avoided. The mixture is
poured into another container and briefly stirred again.
ChemFlo AS is poured onto the surface and spread over
the entire area using a serrated spatula (tooth size no.
25) (layer thickness control). The fluid coating can be
rolled with a spiked roller, as required. The operative
wears spiked shoes to walk on the still wet coating. It may
be necessary to activate the floor coating electrically after
it has fully cured.

In order to retain the quality of the synthetic resin flooring
(DIN EN 196 / ASTM C 109)
for a long time we recommend regular cleaning, care, and

The substrate must be clean and free of dust and loose

ChemFlo AS is supplied in 25 kg pack.

HANDLING & STORAGE

ChemFlo AS has a shelf life of 12 months if kept in a dry,

cool store in the original, unopened packs. If stored at
high temperatures and/or high humidity conditions, the
shelf life may be reduced.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Appropriate health and safety advice can be found in the

Material Safety Data Sheets. Users are advised to wear
gloves and eye protection when mixing or applying
ChemFlo AS.
When cured, ChemFlo AS is inert and harmless.
