    SAN NICOLAS FIRE STATION to grace the 1st BERONG’S CORNER
    FIRE EXHIBIT
    San Nicolas Fire Station, Ilocos Norte headed by SINSP CLAIRE C SIMBOL, Municipal
    Fire Marshal together with the 17 Non-Officers of San Nicolas Fire Station, San Nicolas,
    Ilocos Norte in cooperation with the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office
    and Robinsons’ Place Ilocos will grace its First Fire Exhibit at Robinsons Place Ilocos on
    14 March 2022. Hon. Alfredo P Valdez Jr, Municipal Mayor, will deliver his speech as
    Guest of Honor and Speaker of the event. The ever-supportive BFP-Ilocos Norte
    Provincial Director, CINSP ROXANNE S PARADO, and other guests from BFP-
    ILOCOS NORTE and educational institutions will also be present at the event that
    simulates real-life scenarios and visualization of possible disaster or calamity that may
    strike and the appropriate action to deal with it. It will be participated by the
    students/pupils from different schools in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. Participants will be
    ushered to their respective areas in which they have to perform various knowledge and
    skills development activities during the Fire Exhibit.
    The following are the activities to be performed by the participants of the Berong’s
    Corner Fire Exhibit such as Bandaging and Splinting, EMS First Aid, EMS Cardio-
    Pulmonary Resuscitation, Fire Fighting Technique, Fire House Escape, Ropemanship,
    and Knot Tying, Rappelling and Fire Safety and Emergency Tips Stage.
    Of course, this event is free for everyone to attend and participate in. Said exhibit is
    available to the public until March 19, 2022, starting from 10 am to 6 pm.
    This activity is an INTERACTIVE life safety and emergency procedure simulation,
    designed for children and young adults. So, if your child wants to be a firefighter
    someday this is the best experience that you can give them all for "FREE!!" All you have
    to do as a parent is to bring them on the said dates.
