 Announcing Your Tryout

● You MUST announce your event in the #tryouts channel of the British Army Discord using this
format:
○ [REGIMENT] Royal Military Police
○ [HOST] Ping yourself or the host
○ [LINK]

Academy ○ [INFO] Go to the Parade Deck and fall in, this is your chance to
become a member of RMP. MUST BE OR-2+. Do not ask for permission to
fall in.
○ [SERVER] Type what server you are in
○ [STATUS] Open/ When locked edit to say locked

Your tryout will not be considered valid toward your quota if you do not
announce your tryout in the event tryout channel in the main BA Discord
server.

● Make your announcement in-game as well by using the :m command.

○ “:m Ever wish to guard the gates or patrol the academy and ensure the safety
of all of the British Army personnel well, you’re in luck. Come on to the
parade deck and STS. (/ 3)” ■ Make sure to announce your tryout 3 times
before locking. Wait at least 3 minutes between announcements. You must
wait 10 minutes before locking to gather the most amount of recruits
possible.
● After the 3 announcements, lock your tryout. Announce that it has been locked and
then, lock the tryout box.
○ “RMP tryout is locked. Do not fall in or you will be shot on sight.”

 Introduction

● You shall and must introduce yourself to your attendees:

○ Hello. Welcome to your RMP Tryout. I’m your host, [USERNAME]. You
shall refer to me as Sir/Ma’am.

● Next lay down the ground rules:

○ PTS is active, do not speak without permission.
○ You must have the utmost respect for your fellow attendees as well
as myself. ○ You are not allowed to go AFK without asking.
○ If you fail a task, you will be granted a strike. Three strikes and you will
be removed from the tryout.
○ If you fool around during this tryout, you will be immediately
dismissed. ○ /
■ If someone does not respond within 1 minute, dismiss them.

● Discord Check:
○ To check if they are in the Discord server, tell them all to join one of the
Tryout VCs. ■ This will be part of your communication with all recruits.
■ You are still required to say the messages in-game.
○ Give them 2 minutes to join VC and use the :clear command on those who are
in the VC. ■ Dismiss those who are not in the VC after 2 minutes.
○ Do not accept speaking requests.

 ● Safechat check:
○ SAFECHAT IS NOT ALLOWED.
■ If you allow a member without Discord or who is blacklisted into
RMP you will be granted a fire warning.
○ Make sure all the recruits say “DRAUL” in-game.
■ They must say it exactly as DRAUL with no lower case.
■ If it shows up as “#####” then have them do “!clear” and try it
again. If it still shows as “#####”, dismiss them.

● Background check and age check:

○ Check their friends, username and badges for any suspicious accounts.
■They can only be in ONE British Army. So make sure to check.
○ Use the :age [username].
■ If their account age is below 90 days, dismiss them.
○ Go to the RMP database and check “Blacklists”, do not accept anyone on there.

○ (If you do not check the blacklists and you accept a blacklisted person, you
will be given a fire warning.)
○ Make sure to check their past usernames to see if their old username is
blacklisted! ■ If they are blacklisted, dismiss them.

 Physical Training

● The Physical Training section will consist of jumping jacks and drills.
○ JJs: Give them 90 JJs. Give them 4.5 minutes (270 seconds) to complete it.
■ Jumping jacks must be typed out by letters and in all caps.

○ Drills: Once the JJs are complete, move on to drills. The attendees should
know all of the drills from their Basic Military Training (BMT). You must
spend at least 3 minutes on drills. Give them 1 strike per every drill failed..
■ You must say “SQUAD,” before every drill.
■ Grammar and punctuation count.
■ The attendees perform the drills to their left/right.
■ Valid drill example: “SQUAD,” “LEFT, INCLINE!”
■ Invalid drill example: “SQUAD” “LEFT INCLINE.”
● Why is it invalid?
○ There is no comma after “SQUAD”.
○ There is no comma after “LEFT”.
○ The drill should not end with a period instead of an exclamation
mark.
■ List of drills:

● RIGHT, TURN! - 90 DEGREE TURN TO YOUR RIGHT!

● LEFT, TURN! - 90 DEGREE TURN TO YOUR LEFT!
● ABOUT, TURN! - 180 DEGREE TO FACE THE OPPOSITE SIDE FROM YOUR
POSITION!
● CENTRE, TURN! - TURN TO FACE THE DIRECTION OF THE HOST!
● LEFT, INCLINE! - 45 DEGREE TURN TO YOUR LEFT!
● RIGHT, INCLINE! - 45 DEGREE TURN TO YOUR RIGHT!

 Final Test

● Grammar Quiz
○ If your attendee(s) passed that part of the tryout,
■ DM them the following sentences and tell them to correct them.
They must get the grammar portion 100% correct. If they fail, dismiss
them. They must
complete this within 5 minutes.

Correct the following sentences to make them grammatically appropriate:

■ 6. I really want to join RMP!

You may not tell them the correct answers or which they got wrong after you
have graded their quiz. However, you may tell them their score.

● RMP Quiz
○ You will then send them the following document in DMs:
■ _RMP_ Introduction to RMP (2).pdf
■ Give them 3 minutes to read the document.

● The host should now send the quiz to the attendees. They should be given 7 minutes to
complete the quiz and without hesitation, the answers should be phrased and not the
same as the document otherwise the answers cannot be accepted.

This also ensures that attendees have to Read and Answer all questions rather than
just pasting answers they may have used to join the Royal Military Police before.

● Next, send them this in DMs and give them 5 minutes (300 Seconds) to
complete the quiz:

● Quiz:

1. If a civilian asks how to join RMP, what should you tell them to do?
2. What is the punishment for going to the PD/ crossing the second civilian red line?
3. How do you join the Mobile Enforcement Unit?
4. Name all 5 units in RMP.
5. Can you wear the Mobile Enforcement Unit black provest and corresponding beret
after passing your first phase? And if not, what do you have to complete first before
being able to wear it?
6. What two things will happen if you don't finish both phases in the required amount of
days required?
7. What is your main duty?
8. Can you kill cleared guests?
9. What is the consequence of not being in RMP VC 1 while in the academy?
10. When can you kill uncleared civilians and regimental recruits?
11. What other regiment members are allowed at the border when there is a raid?
12. What uniform must you always wear?
13. How many days do you have to complete both phases?
14. Can you cuff civilians/raiders?

wrong, dismiss them.

 ● Finally, privately send each passed attendee this message in discord.
○ Congratulations, you have successfully passed your Royal Military Police
Tryout! Next, you are required to join the Royal Military Police Discord
server.

■ Make them ping you in the Home Command Discord server in
#bot-commands to ensure they are in the server before moving on
to the next step.
○ Now, send a request to the Royal Military Police ROBLOX group. Please
follow this link, send a request to the group.

bout ■ You will be granted a fire warning if you accept someone who is
not in the Home Command Server into the Royal Military Police group.

● After they requested, accept them in the group.

○ Once you have sent it, collect the usernames from each participant's format. ○
If you have passed OTC, promote them using the in-game logging GUI at the
Academy on the bottom left-hand corner of your screen IF THEY ARE
CURRENTLY OR-2. They receive OR-3 from the RMP tryout.
■ Those who are OR-3 and up do not need to be put into the logger.
● Once all of the above is done,
○ Have the passers wedge on the host with the guard (if any) at the back of the
wedge. Take a picture and then post your tryout event in the
#rmp-tryout-logs channel in the HOMCOM discord server.
