IM: A very happy good morning to one and all present here. I am Irfaan Meera from the
Department of Business Administration and I am Rajalakshmi from the Department of
English. We take immense pleasure in hosting this event as part of International Women’s
Day.

RL: International Women’s Day 2022 campaign theme is Break the Bias.
Imagine a gender equal world.

A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.

A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

A world where difference is valued and celebrated.

Together we can forge women's equality.

Collectively we can all #Break The Bias.

IM: On behalf of S.A.College of Arts & Science, we welcome all the dynamic women
awardees, eminent personalities Dr.P.M.Nair & Dr.P.M.Gopi Nath, Our spirited
correspondent, Mr. P.Venkatesh Raja, Our Charismatic Principal Dr.Malathi Selvakkumar
and Ever- beaming director, Dr.Sayi Sathyavathi. S.A College of Arts & Science salutes all
the powerful and daring women who have gathered here. And here we are celebrating Srishti
2022, the power to create, nurture and transform, on the occasion of International Women’s
Day.

RL: One song can change a moment, one idea can change a world, one step can start the
journey but prayer can change the impossible.

Let us raise for the thamizhthai vaazthu and invocation.

Malarchi Song

IM: Poetry is an art of expressing the unknown music of our inner feelings and emotions in
our known language. Now I invite Dr.Sayi Sathayavathi to play her unknown music.
Thank You mam for your exuberant thoughts. You are indeed an artist who embraced the
powerful weapon of poetry and won our hearts.

RL: Being a good leader isn’t about having power over others, but about instilling power in
others. Now I request our pillar of strength, our principal Dr.Malathi Selvakkumar who
always makes us feel powerful, to deliver the welcome address.

Thank you, mam, for the warm welcome.

IM: Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom. Now I request our
Correspondent Mr. P.Venkatesh Raja to deliver a special address.

Dr.P.M.Nair : Dr PM Nair is an international expert on human trafficking issues. He served

as an IPS for 35 years, in Bihar, CBI, CRPF and NDRF. He has been working against human
trafficking for the last 40 years and now with the Indian Police Foundation.

Sneha Mohandoss

The youngest awardee of our Srishti 2022 is Ms.Sneha Mohandoss from Chennai. She has
found a place in our list for her Hunger Free nation campaign started in 2015 in her FB
Page called Food Bank India. Her selfless service has spread its wings pan India with 18 +
chapters and been recognised by our PM Modi ji as potential woman achiever and enjoys
the distinct advantage of handling his social media etc. She has been recognised in several
forums and SACAS takes great pride in acknowledging her contribution to society by
conferring her with the “Versatile Woman Award”.
The powerlifting championship started on 15th September and ended on 21st September.
Over 28 Indians took part in the tournament. Arathi won the gold in 72 kgs category.
It is proved by Arathi that there is no platform where a woman cannot perform and she is for
sure a multi-talented woman, balancing two professional careers which are both opposites is a
commendable job.  She is a high spirited woman and she said that she will not stop and work
harder on her future endeavors, “I will not stop; the fire in me is not going to stop. I am going
to take part in the World Championships that is going to come in South Africa but if I am
getting support from the government that will be an added bonus to me and I will really
appreciate it.”
She is a mother of two, a professional dentist and power lifter- “Power Lifting Dentist.”
