Troubleshooting and Diagnostics shooting and Diagnostics
Gulf vessel has teams of specially trained Service Engineers to carry out casualty
inspections as well as more routine engine performance analysis and troubleshooting. We
can also provide vibration and noise analysis, engine inspection programs,
troubleshooting and repair preparations to reduce maintenance and operation costs
while increasing machinery performance, efficiency and reliability. Understanding the
scale and scope of the problem facilitates the mobilization of the right tools and technical
resources to restore the engine to full operation in the least amount of time possible.
Engine Component Overhaul – Gulf vessel teams can mobilize with all of the
tools and special equipment required to overhaul the engine components on site.
Alternately, Gulf vessel can overhaul components in its fully equipped workshops and
return the components to site to be installed during overhaul, limiting the on-site
attendance.
Major Casualties – Beyond routine maintenance, Gulf vessel is known for its ability
to restore engines from catastrophic casualties. Crankshaft, block and bedplate
replacements are routine repair operations for Gulf vessel and are done in the safest,

suppliers, Gulf vessel is very often able to offer fully inspected, reconditioned components
at a significantly lower price than the cost of a new and usually faster than can be
delivered from the OEM.
Machining Workshop
Gulf vessel is operating a high end quality driven machine shop which is a fully equipped
and professionally run machine shop providing state of the art CNC and manual machining
services to Middle Eastern market for the oil & gas, power, cement, desalination, and
petrochemical sectors as well offshore and onshore upstream clients.
Gulf Vessel is offering its clients the machining services along with the confidence of fully
trained and competent operators with the added addition of other fabrication services
including welding, testing, blasting and painting offering a “full turnkey” solution.
Injection Pump Service
Our ultra-modern fuel injection workshop is fully equipped to test and repair the widest
range of Diesel Injector Pumps. Bosch, Delphi, Zexel, Denso, Mico, Stanadyne and
Caterpillar. We also cover the EUP (Electronic Unit Pumps) such as on Mercedes Actros
and Atego. The fuel injection pump primary role is to regulate the amount, pressure and
timing of fuel sent to each injector, which inject the fuel onto the piston.
Some injection pumps are mechanically controlled while others are electronic.
