Why is COVID-19 less severe in children?
Factors that might protect children include:

(1) differences in innate and adaptive immunity;

(2) more frequent recurrent and concurrent infections;

(3) pre-existing immunity to coronaviruses;

(4) differences in microbiota; (5) higher levels of melatonin;

(6) protective off-target effects of live vaccines and

(7) lower intensity of exposure to SARS-CoV-2.

In closing, It is our moral obligation as parents to protect our children and have their best interest at mind. No one should dictate upon us whether or not
we should vaccinate our children.
It is us and our child who will have to bear and live with the consequence of whatever action we will take. The pharmaceuticals have an indemnity clause
protecting them. Government agencies and health agencies can easily turn their backs and say there is no causality. But you will have to live with it. And
your child will have to bear it for the rest of his/ her life.

So please make the decision after considering all the facts. Click on the links I provided and search for yourselves. Don’t limit yourself to the mainstream
media. Don’t limit yourself to the propaganda. Read everything, the pros and the cons. Discern for yourself and use your parental instincts

1. Don’t decide out of fear because statistics all over the world show a 99+% chance of survival with a less than 1% chance of death
2. Don’t decide because you were intimidated by the government and agencies- they will intimidate you but they will deny any accountability to your
actions. There is also no enabling law that requires you to be vaccinated
3. Don’t decide to please the public, don’t decide so you would be “in” with society, so that you can post on social media
4. Don’t decide because you have a fear of being left out, or a fear of standing out in the crowd.
5. Don’t decide because they say it is our social responsibility to attain herd immunity. Herd immunity is clearly not achievable by the vaccination.
From the word immunity itself, the vaccinated would be immune from the disease- they won’t get the disease and they won’t infect others.
Omicron has showed us that even the triple vaccinated/ boostered can get COVID and infect others. no statistics needed because I’m sure all of us
know of someone who are vaxxed yet contracted COVID. so if the vaxxed can get covid and there is no immunity, they cannot protect the herd.
Herd immunity will not be attainable this way. look at HK now, it’s in the news. they are experiencing their 5th wave despite the fact that they are
almost 80% vaccinated. hospitals are full. if only 20% remain unvaccinated, the vaccinated should have been able to protect the population
6. Lastly decide because you know in your heart, in your gut that it is the 100% right thing to do. We parents have strong parental instincts. If in doubt
I suggest to pray and pray and to wait a little bit more for things to be clearer before deciding in something that may have life long implications.

We all have a common goal, the end of the pandemic. We may have different ways of getting there, but at the end of the day, let us please respect the
decision of one another. let us not discriminate, let us stand together doing whatever we can, in our own way, to end the pandemic. Let us all pray for a
better tomorrow for our children.
