problem with the Secure Website Certificate, you will see the Your connection is not
secure alert page.

To resolve this issue and to browse the https:// websites,

We need to install certificates in the respective browsers..

SSL Certificate to install in your browser is attached

along with the mail.

You can download the same from your student Login

under Notifications.

Installing SSL Certificates in

Firefox browser

1.Launch Mozilla Firefox web browser.

2.Click on the Menu icon on the top right corner and Click on Options.

3.Click on Privacy and Security option

4.Scroll down to the last section to see Certificates

5.Click the View Certificates button.

6.Click on Authorities Tab

7.Click the Import button.

8.Browse to the location where the certificate is saved.

9. Select the SSL security file and click open.

11. Tick both check boxes on the screen and click OK

Installing Certificates in Chrome browser

1. Open the Chrome browser > Open the Menu and Click on Settings.

2. In the Search field , type certificates

3. Click on the Manage certificates options

4. Select ‘Trusted Root Certification Authorities’ and click on Import

5. Certificate Import Wizard will appear – Click on Next …

6. Click on Browse…
9.Select All Files to view all the files in the folder.
and select the certificate.

7. Select the .pem file and Open

8 .Click Next and then Finish

9. Click Yes then OK and Click Close

For Internet Explorer no need to do the settings separately. If its done on Chrome.
Automatically the settings will be updated in IE, if done on Chrome.

For Mac PC’s download the certificate file onto the desktop and Double click on
the file, Certificate will be installed automatically.
