Our Story
How did it all Happen ?

Anshu Singh Niranjan Kumar Mohit Sharma

We were 17 and naive, guided by the uncertainty of our goals in life three
of us bunked our school trip to Amritsar and went on our own journey to
Shimla. This was the firstILAHITRAVELS
time that we came this far from our home. The

journey was both blissful as well as daunting, being kids we were fooled

and soon ran out of money but all these experiences added to our
learnings.

I remember clicking a photo of our driver bhaiya from Shimla and

sending it to my mother with a message saying "if we go missing, catch
this guy". Memories of the time still puts a smile on our face, measuring
how far we have come from being three immature travellers to three
friends helping people to plan their next trip.

Day 0 : Departure from Delhi

Day 1 : Reach Shimla, Transfer to Sangla. Overnight stay Sangla.

Day 2 : Chitkul Exploration & move to Tabo via Khab sangam. Overnight stay Tabo.

Day 3 : Tabo Exploration, move towards Dhankar & pin valley. Overnight stay at Kaza.

Day 4 : Exploration of Chicham Bridge, Kibber & Key Monastery . Overnight at Kaza

Day 5 : Hikkim, Komic and Langza Exploration. Overnight stay at Kaza.

Day 6 : Move towards Kalpa. Overnight stay at Kalpa.

Day 7 : Explore Suicide point & leave for Shimla and transfer to Delhi via Volvo.

Day 8 : Arrival in Delhi by 8:00 to 9:00 am

Day 1
Reach Shimla - Transfer to Sangla
Leave from Delhi between 09:00 to 11:30 pm in the evening.
Reach Shimla early morning between 8:00 to 9:00 am & Transfer to Sangla.
Make a stop for breakfast around the outskirts of Shimla & continue the journey.
Visit Kinnaur gate and get some cool photographs.
Reach sangla by evening and check into your hotels, freshen up & Relax.
Night Briefing session for the following day

Day 2
Chitkul Exploration - Khab - Gue | Tabo
Early morning freshen up & get ready for the day
Have breakfast and leave for Chitkul Exploration
Leave for Tabo via Khab & Gue Monastery where Spiti & Sutlej river confluence.
Reach Tabo & Check into your Hotel\Homestay
Dinner and Night Briefing

Day 3
Tabo - Dhankar - Pin - Kaza
Early morning freshen up and leave for Kaza.
Visit the Tabo Monastery & Tabo caves which are 1000 year old & have meditation
session.
Visit Dhankar Monastery which was a Capital of spiti in the past.
Observe the wildelife in Pin Valley.
Reach Kaza, check into your homestay, overnight stay at kaza.
Day 4
Chicham Bridge - Key Monastery

Wake up early morning & head towards sightseeing of spiti valley.

Visit the iconic monastery known as - key Monastery
Head towards the highest suspension bridge in Asia (chicham Bridge)
Come back to kaza and go for self exploration in kaza market.
Come to homestay & overnight stay at Kaza.

Day 5
Hikkim - Komic - Langza

Early morning freshen up & get ready for the day

Head towards visiting the Highest post office in the world & write to your loved ones.
next, visit the Highest village in the world know as Komic and Langza which is known
to be the Fossil village of India.
Come back to Kaza, Have dinner & Overnight stay.

Day 6
Kaza to Kalpa

Today Morning, Pack your bags and leave for Kalpa.

Reach Kalpa and Check-in to your Hotel. Take some rest.
Day 7
Shimla to Delhi Tranfer
Wake up early, have breakfast & explore Suicide point & Transfer to Shimla
Reach Shimla and Depart for Delhi via volvo

Day 8
Arrival In Delhi

Early morning arrive in Delhi by 8:00am - 9:00am with memories of a lifetime.

Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks, etc. (to
be borne directly by the customer on the spot)

camera \video charges, laundry, telephone bills, Heater etc.
Any kind of food & beverages that is not included in the package like Alcohol,

Our Work in Spiti Valley ?

Mother & Paws

There are around 500 - 700 dogs in spiti and feeding them is the task. During
summers Hotel, Homestay's & Tourists play a major role in providing them food
but as winters arrive the survival of these dogs become really challenging. To
Help them we have collaborated with 12 local ladies of spiti who are feeding
these dogs on every weekend.
All of these Ladies Meet on sunday and bring little ration from their own house

ILAHITRAVELS
and prepare a stock for 7 days and feed them a little everyday before going to

work. This is not a Permanent solution though & we are working towards

Organising a Sterilisation camp to control dogs increasing Population in the

Upcycling to create Art.

We are collecting all the plastic waste that happens during our trip such as Plastic
bottles, Rappers Etc. and upcycling them for creating Art and spread awareness
regarding the importance of Waste management.
