Ukraine is a large country
in Eastern Europe , known
for its orthodox churches,
the coast of the black sea
and the mountains.
its capital is
Kyiv

One of the
most famous
attractions is
the Saint Sofia
Cathedral.
GASTRONOMY
Salo, its considered the national
Ukrainian dish, it consists of a white
pork fat that is seasoned with pepper
and garlic.
CULTURE
Ukraine is made up of a diverse set
of ethnic groups. Ukrainians make
up almost 75% of the population,
along with Russians, who make up
22% of the total population. The
rest is made up of a great diversity
of peoples: Poles, Belarusians,
Slovaks, Moldovans, Gypsies,
Romanians and Hungarians.
ECONOMY
Ukraine is among the world's leading
producers and exporters of corn, wheat
and barley. In relation to corn, for the
2020-2021 campaign it ranked as the
sixth world producer, with 29.5 million
tons, behind the US.
SPORTS
The most popular sport in Ukraine is
soccer. Furthermore, the Dynamo Kyiv
club, although it is the locomotive of
national football and the most awarded
team in the country, is not the only
one that can boast of its international
successes.
LANGUAGES
In Ukraine, the official language is
Ukrainian, although Russian is widely
spoken in the east and south of the
country. According to the 2001 census, two
thirds of the population have Ukrainian as
their native language, while 30% declare
that theirs is Russian.
