To apologize is to tell someone that you are sorry for having done something that has caused him
inconvenience or unhappiness. Answer these questions

1. Are you usually punctual? 2. Are you ever late? Why/Why not? 3. How do you feel when the other

Discussion: When was the last time you said sorry for doing something?
Situation: Paul says sorry for making Noelia fall over. She is fine but her laptop isn’t.

PRACTICE No. 2

1. Role Play: Practice a conversation. Use core phrases for ordering for food. Write your
own scripts. Then present orally.

Customer: Order what you want from the menu. Include a desert. Ask how much is it,
finally pay the bill.

Waiter/waitress: Offer the menu and recommend and special dish.
