for your daily conversation. Have you heard someone say “you’ve got to be kidding me” to you
or to someone else? or you probably have heard this expression somewhere in the movie.

The expression “you’ve got to be kidding me” is very common to use when someone is very
surprised by what someone else has said and do not accept it. On the other way, “you’ve got
to be kidding me” has the same meaning as “oh my god, I cannot believe it”.

Tessa : Oh, I am flooded by emails from all clients. I must have missed their email.
Phoebe: Then you need to go to your desk, check your email and start revising the report, again.
Anyway, I have sent the joint report for our division too. So, you can just add a little more and
send it right away to our boss.

Tessa : Oh, thank you Phoebe. You are the best!

Phoebe: Thank me with a cup of coffee after work.

Tessa : will do!
