    Declamation

    Mechanics

    1. The contestant shall choose his/her own declamation piece. And it shall be strictly
    declamation, not dramatic monologue
    2. The piece shall be delivered within 3-5 minutes. Every excess of 30 seconds shall be one
    point deduction
    3. Attire should appropriate to the piece
    4. Ranking system shall be used in determining the winners
    5. The decision of the board of judges is final.

    Criteria

    40%-Delivery ( Enunciation , Diction, Phrasing, Voice Projection)

    30%Character Portrayal ( Expression, Gestures , Attire

    10%- Choice of Piece

    10% - Mastery ( Memorization of the Piece)

    10% Stage Presence and Impact
