1. I am going to tell you about the differences and the similarities between an alligator and a
crocodile.
2. An alligator is a large reptile which is similar to a crocodile but with a broader and shorter head.
3. And a crocodile is a large predatory reptile with long jaws that they use for hunting
4. Their definitions sound very similar
5. The reason that I decided to tell you about these two animals is because many people think they
mean the same animal.

6. To begin, crocodiles are similar to alligators because they are both reptiles.
7. People call animals that live both in water and on surface reptiles
8. Furthermore, alligators and crocodiles both have sharp teeth.
9. Their teeth are so sharp that they can eat lots of animals with them
10. They have differences, too
11. People see alligators usually living in America and China.
12. In contrast, crocodiles live in Africa and Australia
13. they are slightly different in appearances, too
14. a crocodiles has a longer mouth than an alligator
15. Also, a crocodile has a lighter appearance than an alligator.
16. As I explained today, an alligator and a crocodile may look the same but they are different.
