G’day Everyone, we're just two weeks
away from the national launch of
Manager Roster Variations. It's time to
check your progress and ensure you're
on track:
Ensure all PT Manager have their agreed shifts set up, this will
reduce the amount offers sent on the initial publish of the Manger
Roster
Ensure all shift segments for admin & support shifts are updated on
the Manager Roster so employees arrive to work for the correct shift
and avoid any unnecessary penalties

Example of what to look for:

The shift on the Manager Roster displays Admin 12-8 but the shift
segment is actually 8-4. In this scenario the employee would be
agreeing to work 8-4.
Be sure to check out all the resources on Workplace to help with a
successful launch!

Global Employee Appreciation Day 2023

Contact: @Aidan Robertson
Date: Friday 3rd March

We are excited to announce that this year we will be celebrating Global Employee
Appreciation Day on Friday March 3rd. A special day dedicated to recognizing and thanking
our hardworking team members for their contributions to our restaurants.

We know that without all our employees, we wouldn't be able to provide the excellent service
and quality food that our customers love. To help make this day special in your restaurants, we
have created an activation guide with suggested ways to celebrate and additional
resources that are available in Workplace:

Knowledge Library > Attraction, Engagement & Retention > Employee Appreciation Day 2023

These materials will help you and your team celebrate in a fun and
meaningful way. We hope that you will take advantage of these
resources and enjoy this special day with your teams!

myRestaurant Manager Proficiencies
Contact: @Andrea Gibson
Date: Thursday 16th March

🔊 Incoming myRestaurant Enhancement!!! 🎉

What is it, I hear you ask?

The Manager Course names in myRestaurant have been updated to reflect the
current courses offered as well as include Fire Training! The Fire Training proficiency
will have a GPPE rule similar to First Aid which will help with managing ongoing Fire
Training re-verifications - how handy is that! 🙌👏

What does this mean?

All manager's proficiencies will need to be entered into myRestaurant prior to
starting your next managers roster, including First Aid and Fire Training 📅 🧯✔

Unsure how to update proficiencies or need a refresher? 🤔 Attached in The Monday

Sauce Resources is one pager that outlines how to complete this in myRestaurant
😎👍

When does this need to be completed by?

The enhancement will be live as of
Thursday 16th March, all rosters published
after this date will need to have the
required pre-requisites for shift running
entered into the managers proficiencies to
publish a roster.

McCafe Group Handle Cleaning Reminder
Contact: @Danielle Ocallaghan

There has been an increase in Puqpress service requests raised due to water ingress.
This is due to the Group Handles being rinsed and not dry wiped between uses.

Please note this repair would not be warrantable and could cost a restaurant several
hundred dollars.
➢ Please ensure Crew are following correct procedure of using the brown
microfibre cloth to dry wipe between each use.

➢ Group Handles should only be soaked in water and Group Handle cleaning
tablets once per day for 10-15 minutes followed by scrubbing and rinsing all
chemical residue off as per PM Task found on Workplace. This task should be
completed on close or during a slow period.
