Worksheet # 7 Content Topic Closure Learning Activities

Class/Section BFE II-4 Name of Student Mark Jushua Germo

The session is all about Closure Learning Activities it refers to an activity that ends a lesson and creates a lasting
impression, a phenomenon called the recency effect. One of the best examples of closure strategies is “3-2-1” students
write down on a notecard 3 things they learned from today’s lesson, 2 questions they have about the topic and 1 thing
[they] want the teacher to know from today’s lesson. The 3-2-1 can be a helpful tool for getting students to organize
their thoughts, and promote reflection and metacognition. This activity provides an easy way to check for
understanding and gauge student interest. It is also an effective way to promote discussion or review material.
