SRX LP Air Valve
Posi-Seal air valve provides a bubble-tight seal
preventing leakage that can lead to
unnecessary precipitation .
The air/exhaust valves can be totally accessed
without taking the pump apart – no special
tools are required.

Filter screen in the air valve assembly prohibits

the entry of debris. 330 mesh, stainless steel.
SRX LP Air Exhaust Valve

Accessed from the top of the

pump without disassembling
the pump body.

Simply unthread.

What Is Corrosion
►Corrosion is a state of deterioration of
essential properties in a material,
typically metals due to chemical
reactions, oxidation or the loss of
electrons.
►Generally begins at weld joints on the
metal

LIQUID LEVEL

When the exhaust port and the well are open to atmosphere or
when the exhaust line is inside the well the liquid level inside
the pump to start the discharge cycle is as shown. The gas
pressure inside the pump and outside the pump are the same.
Only the higher liquid level outside the pump will cause it to fill
to the cycle activation level
The well flange seals the top of the well and all the tubing
penetrations the pump exhaust tubing is open to the atmosphere

LEVEL

When the exhaust port is open to the atmosphere and the well
is under partial vacuum the liquid level in the casing to fill the
pump and activate the discharge cycle will be increased by the
applied vacuum.

Common Questions
Q - How deep can I install the pump
A - Pumps are rated for 100 PSI so that
translates to 231 ft
Q – After I have had the air supply turned
off to the pump it seems to take a while
before it starts cycling properly
A – With the air supply turned off the
float moves to the on position allowing
the liquid to fill the air line therefore air
has to purge the liquid from the air
supply
Common Questions
Q – Why is liquid discharging from
the air exhaust line
A – This is normal after the air
supply has been shut off. The
liquid will fill the exhaust line
equal to the static well level. The
discharge should stop after 10-
15 cycles
What Customers Say

“The SRX pump is so simple, it works and the

pricing is hundreds less than what we are
currently paying”.
What Customers Say

“We know that maintenance will be required

on our landfill pumps and the SRX pump
makes that process so much simpler. We
estimate that our service time will be cut in
half and no expensive replacement parts.”
What Customers Say

“The SRX pump is so easy to take apart – no

special wrenches – no adjustments – the
domed bottom is great for installation.”
