Problems 01
Dealing with range anxiety of customers

02
The backlash from the EV community against commercial-scale
electricity generated from fossil fuels through machinery.

03
Concerns regarding the extensive use of sensors (RADAR, LIDAR) and
cameras in the vehicle, breaching right to privacy.

Battery chargers on road trips and charging blocks in various petrol pumps.

backup . Solutions
Solution
02 List 1-3 ways your company
proposes to solve them.
Collaborating with non-conventional energy farms for the improvement of the
environment by reducing the emission of greenhouse gases and the R&D team is
developing new ways to incorporate the use of solar panels on the automobile
body while retaining it's tensile strength.

03
Various solutions have been made for the purpose of solving the privacy issues
relating to both TORO and third parties. with thee improvement in technology.
Range Anxiety
We plan to introduce a system where a user can exchange their discharged batteries with charged
batteries at the EV charging stations making the whole process time-saving and ensuring to reduce
the range anxiety as well. For its successful implementation, the first step would be to make it
mandatory to keep a minimum of 5 fully charged batteries with them. The stations will also need to
maintain charging facilities for the exchange of discharged batteries.

We plan to set up charging blocks in petrol pumps as lack of infrastructure and range anxiety can
only be tackled with the installation of EV charging facilities at petrol pumps. To make this a
success we plan on providing charging stations in every 30 km radius which will be made into a
charger every 15 km by 2026.

To reduce range anxiety, we will also provide an insurance helpline to our customers, through
which they could get access to a mobile charging station within an hour.
Use of non-conventional sources of energy
The EV community is a staunch opponent of fossil fuels and so we plan to switch to non-conventional
energy resources that are pollution-free and hence we can use these to produce a clean form of
energy without any wastage. Laurin Hahn, the founder and CEO of German startup Sono Motors,
believes that:
"Solar brings down costs and makes EV more affordable without sacrificing the convenience."
In order to reduce the consumption of conventional sources of energy, we are working on a solar
charging enabled EV body that will be installed on the frame of the automobiles. This feature will
allow electric vehicles to automatically charge themselves.
Our major emphasis is on collaboration and mergers with various non-conventional energy farms
for providing charging facilities. We plan to harness and store solar energy for the purpose of
charging EVs. Since the storage of solar energy is expensive, we plan on cutting the cost by
making use of government subsidies and grants.
Privacy issues related to AI
Sensors and cameras will be used to to detect the driver’s presence, alertness, and tiredness.
camera will not record video or photos of the driver. The data it collects will not leave the
camera itself, nor it will be streamed back to our company.

The cameras, microphones and the sensors inbuilt in the vehicles will be used only for pre-
specified purposes including safety of the passengers during their drive in case they sleep or
have any unforeseen accidents. Moreover, they’ll be provided with a setting or rather an option
of going completely incognito at the push of a button.

Third party - As for solving any possible privacy breaches as our IT team will be updating the
servers and firewalls every week for maximum security and privacy.
Where to Charge
Charging blocks will be available in
various petrol pumps in providing
charged batteries for exchange purposes.
For this we will be collaborating with
country's largest distributer of
petroleum products.

The customers will be provided with an

insurance type helpline where a mobile
charging station will be sent to them
within an hour.

Home Charging

80% of the day vehicles are parked in the house. Therefore they can be
charged easily at home . Therefore cost of charging it at charging stations
can be reduced.

Workplace Charging
Workplace charging could be an alternative to home charging for those who do not
have access to charging infrastructure at home. Charging at workplaces provides an
important opportunity to encourage EV adoption and increase the fraction of miles
that are fueled by electricity.
Government will provide
grants and subsidies to us.

Assumptions
we have made
Country will be having a
large non conventional
power source firm (eg -
solar firm, wind farm etc.)
