1. Define Post- Construction Services as used in the Philippines. What is its scope?
A maintenance services to the completed structure, facility, or a building. Basically, means
follow up check-ups to the building after completion. This includes building maintenance,
supervision, evaluation, monitoring for an efficient and functional outcome of the project.
The architect must ensure every details of the building are in all good conditions. The
demands for safety must also be taken into account.
In post-construction services, you will interact with a variety of parties to learn about the
performance and preservation of the building, including the building owners, architects,
engineers, operators, builders, manufacturers, building research groups, utility providers,
furniture and equipment vendors, and building administrators/property managers.

be effective in this field?

Building administration and post-construction services are essential to the practice of
architecture in dealing with errors. As architects, this approach will serve as a reminder that
no project we complete is perfect, and there is always room for improvement.
This service is necessary to determine how well-functioning and effective the building or
structure will be. Whether the project is successful or not, this can also be a test of how well
the team puts out effort.
4. What interests you most about this field? As a future architect, would you consider
going into this field?
As a future architect, I would love to go in this field and experience to build a home for
people. I think that being in this field is a great opportunity for me to create and innovate the
world through building structures, facilities, and houses.
