Scope and Delimitation

The scope of the study will focus on the level of satisfaction in face-to-face learning among HUMSS students.
The main focus of this study is to know the student level of satisfaction in face-to-face learning modalities and how
satisfied HUMSS students is, during this time of pandemic. The respondents of the study are the grade twelve (12)
students who are currently enrolled in Daniel Maramba National High School and are taking Humanities and Social
Science as their senior high school strand.

The researcher will provide Survey questionnaire to the participants for the needed information, in general, the
researcher will gather more than 50 respondents of HUMSS students. This study will only be conducted online for the
school year 2022-2023, in survey form through google forms or any other online application that could conduct a
survey.

Definition of Terms

• Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) - is defined as illness caused by a novel coronavirus called severe
acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2; formerly called 2019-nCoV), which was first
identified amid an outbreak of respiratory illness cases in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China.

• Face-to-Face Learning – is an instructional method where course content and learning material are taught in
person to a group of students. This allows for a live interaction between a learner and an instructor. It is the
most traditional type of learning instruction.

• HUMSS - stands for Humanities and Social Sciences. It is one of the strands offered to Senior High students.

• Level of Satisfaction - the act of satisfying or state of being satisfied.
