I、 Company Profile
Beijing Huahang Shengshi Energy Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to
as "Huahang Shengshi") is a new high-tech enterprise invested by Beijing University
of Aeronautics and Astronautics, which is committed to energy conservation,
environmental protection and sustainable development of energy.
China Hang Shengshi Company integrates a number of scientific research
achievements of many famous professors in Beihang University and foreign advanced
technologies. It has developed and launched independent innovative products and
technologies in energy conservation and emission reduction fields such as building and
industrial energy management, system and process optimization, industrial waste heat
and pressure recovery, low temperature power generation, etc. , providing advanced
solutions for energy conservation and emission reduction during the national 12th Five -
Year Plan period.

Researched and improved aviation turbine expansion technology,
independently developed and designed, and manufactured high efficiency turbine for
R245fa, whose isentropic efficiency is greater than 83%.
1.2 System seal and lubricating oil
problem in the manufacture of ORC system. It is the first
to design the highly efficient semi-enclosed generator with
independent intellectual property rights and realize the
soft grid-connection function.Semi-enclosed generator
fundamentally solves a series of problems such as lubricating oil leakage, working
medium leakage and shaft misalignment.In addition, the generator uses the patented
technology of self-developed working medium cooling, the winding temperature rise is
low, the noise is small, and the service life is long.
Ejector return oil is an advanced oil circuit design method used in centrifuge.
According to the characteristics of turbine operation, the ejector return oil system is
independently developed and reformed and innovated, and the method is
successfully applied to turbine oil circuit system.
1.3 System integration Techniques
Drawing on the experience of product integration
design of water chiller, according to the selection of each
key equipment, the modular design of the concentric ORC
generator set and the design of pipeline connection
between the equipment are completed, and the overall
optimization is finally carried out, so that it can meet the
design requirements of prying, convenient for long-distance transportation and
quick assembly on site.
1.4 ORC centripetal turbine technology

The expander technologies adopted by ORC power generation system in the world
mainly include: axial flow turbine, centripetal turbine,
screw expander and scroll expander.Centripetal turbines
have the advantages of high isentropic efficiency, large
power range and reliable operation.Due to its high
technical content, high design difficulty, high machining
accuracy requirements, and the blockade of related
technologies in China, the application of centriotype turbine technology in ORC
products has not been realized in China before. China Hang Shengshi Company and
Beijing University ofAeronautics and Astronautics successfully developed the
first centriotype ORC generator set in China.
1.5 Simulation turbine design technology and experimental verification for
R245fa working medium and R1233ZD and other new working medium.
Due to the great difference between the thermodynamic
properties of organic working medium and water vapor,
conventional turbine design method cannot be adopted.In
view of organic working medium R245fa and R1233ZD and
fluid properties, a full three-way simulation model was
established by Huahang Shengshi Company to simulate the Internet/subnet

a unique adaptive heat source control technology, which can carry out adaptive control on
the heat source flow according to the real-time parameters such as power generation, heat
source temperature, flow, etc. The waste heat fluctuation in the range of 40%~110% can
ensure the optimal power output of the generator set.
2. Technical Introduction
The Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) operates on a similar principle to the Rankine cycle

for thermal power generation, except that the working medium is different.The
Rankine cycle uses water as its working medium, while the ORC uses organic
working medium.
The principle of Beijing Huahang Shengshi centering ORC cryogenic generator set
is shown in Figure 1.The system consists of three loops: hot water loop (red pipe),
working medium loop (green pipe), cooling water loop (blue pipe).
1) The heat source water flows in the red pipe shown in the figure, enters the
evaporator of the unit, transfers heat to the working medium in the unit, the
temperature of the heat source water decreases and leaves the evaporator, and is
sent to the subsequent process.
2) The working medium flows in a closed circulation in the green pipe shown in the
figure.The liquid working medium enters the evaporator, absorbs heat from the heat
source, becomes saturated or superheated steam, and enters the turbine, where the
heat energy is converted into mechanical energy, which drives the generator to output
electricity.The superheated working medium steam then enters the condenser and
becomes the liquid working medium, which enters the working medium pump.The
working medium pump drives the circulating flow of the working medium.
3) The cooling water flows in the blue pipe shown here.The cooling water is driven
by the pump and enters the condenser of the unit to cool the working fluid.The
temperature of the cooling water rises and leaves the condenser, and is sent into the
cooling system to disperse the heat to the atmospheric environment.

As shown in the dotted line frame in Figure 1, the central ORC generator set is
integrated with turbine generator, working medium pump, evaporator
and condenser. It has simple and compact structure and can be unattended.

III、 Project overview
This project is an ORC waste heat recovery and utilization power generation
project.According to the communication in the early stage, the available waste heat
and pressure resources are shown in Table 1.

The project will recover this waste heat for electricity generation, converting the
heat that would otherwise be wasted directly into the natural environment into high-
quality electricity.
Waste heat source enters ORC power generation system.In the ORC power
generation system, heat sources enter the evaporator and preheater of the ORC unit for
heat exchange.In the preheater and evaporator, the working medium is heated
into the working medium steam by circulating hot water, which drives the turbine to do
work and output electricity.Working medium steam through the condenser, condensing
into liquid working medium, driven by the working medium pump, pressure rise, into the
preheater, complete the thermal cycle.
