Specific Responsibilities; On-Site and Office Safety commitment:

❖ Managing the HSE function and provide effective, professional and competent support to the project management team.
❖ Ensuring effective systems are maintained across the projects for the identification, assessment and control of all significant
hazards.
❖ Works in partnership with managers, operation and supervisors to develop, implement, maintain and enhance HSE system and
practices.
❖ Proactive monitoring of site activities, firefighting, fire alarm equipment, welfare facilities, first aid equipment, site securities and
proper signage on working areas.
❖ Conduct follow up inspection on all activities to avoid risk of major accident such as hot & cold work, excavation, road work and
lifting activities etc.
❖ Conducts inspection on all personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and field equipment to ensure they are compliant with company
and regulatory standards and operational integrity.
❖ Verify safety precautions stipulated on permit to work, risk assessments and job safety analysis are being implemented.
❖ Make sure legal compliance are in place by verifying 3rd party certification for loose lifting gear, electrical equipment, heavy
equipment etc., and correct color coding is implemented.
❖ Participate in reviewing the health and safety plan, fire plan, traffic plan and environmental plan.
❖ Prepare Project HSE Plan, Risk Assessment, Incidents/Accidents reports, Statistics report, Correspondence and other HSE related
documents for submittals to clients.
❖ Coordinate effective emergency response programs, conduct regular inspections and participate in internal audits.
❖ Participate effectively in the development of site safety procedures & guidelines, ensuring adherence to global best practices,
OSHAD COP’s and Construction safety by Abu Dhabi Municipality.
❖ Establishes and implement techniques, which involve cost, loss rate and similar methodologies, for periodic and systematic
evaluation of the safety system and hazard control program effectiveness. Assists in developing methods to evaluate the costs
and effectiveness of hazard controls and safety system programs.
❖ Liaising with external parties on matters relating to the safety and environmental requirements.
❖ Rectification of NCR and SOR issued by the Consultant &clients.
❖ Maintain documentation and data in line with statutory and company guidelines.
