Grade 4 – Faith – Tuesday Teacher Judy did the opening for the grade 4 students today as well. As soon she entered the meeting, she greeted them with a good morning and encouraged the class to greet each other. After that, she asked them to get their whiteboard and marker for their spelling. Before pronouncing the word, Teacher Judy reads the meaning of the word to the students. When they finished the spelling review, she told the class to prepare the things they need for their subject this day. When it is time for their Filipino class, Teacher Jhamina entered the meeting and instructed the pupils to seat properly and keep the things that are not needed in their class. She asked the students about their past lessons and let them recall the things they discussed. Teacher Jhamina calls the students randomly to give ideas as she tackles their current topic. After that, the class started to answer their exercise in the book where they will transform the word depending on the tense asked. Teacher Krystel asked the grade 4 students to open their books from the past lesson they have discussed. She explained to them about the living things and their environment. After they are done discussing, she aligns it to her new topic which is the animals and their movements. They answered a seatwork and Teacher Krystel explains the directions. After the students are done answering, she asked them to show it to their cameras. After a short break, Teacher Pauline joined the class for their Math subject. She gave more examples and showed easier ways to add and subtract fractions. She also asks ideas among the student about the given fractions. As always, she uses illustrations to make it easier to visualize. After the discussion, they answered the seat works in their Math book. Teacher Leah facilitated a group activity where the students will discuss and present their ideas about the current topic. She divided them into 5 groups wherein she tasked them to discuss among themselves their thoughts about the question assigned to them. After the students left the breakout room, the teacher calls on each group representative to report their answer. When the grade are done eating their lunch, Teacher Leah started their class in English. She asked the students about the past lesson and continued to some topics that were left behind. After the discussion, the class answered their activity in the book. Grade 1 – Patience For the Grade 1 – Patience class, Teacher Pauline did the opening for them. She called on someone to lead the prayer and shortly after, she asked the pupils to bring out their whiteboard and marker. After they are done with the spelling review, she played videos of pupils who joined the Music Festival. Soon after, Teacher Krystel entered the meeting and greeted the Grade 1 – pupils. She asked them to open their books to answer the activities. While answering, she explains the directions and questions to the pupils. Since the topic is about the members of the family, she let the students share their ideas about it. After their AP class, Teacher Judy entered the meeting for the grade 1’s Filipino subject. She also asks the pupils about the past lesson to review. They answered their exercise in the book and Teacher Judy translates and explains the questions especially to those who have a hard time understanding Filipino. She also types the right spelling to the chat for the students. Teacher Pauline unlocked first the difficult word before she tell the story in their ESP subject. When the pupils now have an idea, she tells the class the story and translates it at the same time. After it is over, she had a series of questions to ask that are about the story they have just read. As the pupils answered her questions, she relates them to real-life situations. For the last subject, Science, Teacher Jhamina entered the zoom meeting. As soon they started, she asked the pupils to sit properly and focus on her. She discussed their past lesson and continued to the things they missed at the last meeting. After that, they answered the seatwork in their Science book.
