for the Accountant position. Can you please start by telling me a little bit about yourself and your
background in accounting?
Ma. Shaira I. De Leon: Good morning. Im MA. SHAIRA I. DE leon. Thank you for having me
today. I am a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from City
College of Calamba. I have extensive knowledge of financial accounting and auditing, and I am
seeking an entry-level position as an Accountant to further develop my skills and knowledge in
the financial sector.
Hiring Manager: Can you tell me about your work experience in the field of accounting?
Ma. Shaira I. De Leon: Sure, In year 2022, I have worked as an Admin Assistant at KGG
Online Services and as an Accounting Assistant and Audit Intern in Audit and Advisory
Services. During my time as an intern, I was able to assist in preparing financial statements and
reports for clients, which has given me hands-on experience with various accounting tasks.
Hiring Manager: What skills and abilities do you bring to the table that make you an ideal
candidate for this position?
Ma. Shaira I. De Leon: I have excellent communication skills and am able to handle multiple
tasks in a highly organized manner. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
as well as in encoding, prospecting, and sourcing. In addition, I possess in-depth knowledge of
financial statements, managerial accounting, budgets, and payroll.
Hiring Manager: Can you give me an example of a challenging situation you faced in your
previous work experience and how you overcame it?
Ma. Shaira I. De Leon: One challenging situation I faced was during my time as an Audit
Intern. I was assigned to audit a client's financial statements, and I found some discrepancies in
their records. I communicated the findings to my supervisor and worked with the client to
reconcile the discrepancies and produce accurate financial statements. I was able to successfully
resolve the issue through effective communication and attention to detail.
