POSITION SUMMARY

Report directly to the Duty Supervisor/Leading Hand and is responsible for ensuring the cleaning services provided are
completed to the highest standard and to customer satisfaction.

NETWORKING RELATIONSHIPS
To achieve the objectives of this role, the incumbent is dependent on the following internal and/or external networks;

• Customer Service Manager • Unions
• Leading hand • Client staff
• Cleaners • Rehabilitation provider
• Risk Management Department
• Trainer

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Result Areas: Tasks :

Maintain good customer service relations • Completing the tasks outlined in the Site Safety Plan for which they are
responsible
• Follow instructions given by the Leading Hand or Site Supervisor
• Clean up equipment and place in order at the end of the shift
• Attend to requests made by the leading hand and / or the Customer
Service Manager
• Work in a manner which does not disrupt the customer or the customer’s
patrons
• Perform high standard of cleaning tasks as directed
• Follow instructions given by the ISS Manager
• Work in a manner that does not disrupt the customer or the customer’s
clients
• Complete all tasks outlined in the appropriate Work Schedule
• Cooperate with management in the implementation and maintenance of
ISS HSE policies and procedures/ISSafe
• Identify and record any issues relating to the provision of service in the
Communication Book

Maintain a high standard of cleaning per • Make suggestions to improve workplace safety or cleaning operations to
contractual requirement the ISS Manager
• Communicate on a daily basis with the client representative to ensure that
satisfactory services are being provided and to inform of any maintenance
requirements on site
• Complete periodic cleaning as scheduled and complete and sign off the
periodic schedule provided in the Site Operations Folder.
• Contact the ISS Manager should there be any problems with any of the
tasks listed above

Contribute and participate in continuous  Actively seek opportunities to enhance ISS processes and
