Design Concept

The overall theme of this space is centered on the concept of the "Balangay boat," Southeast
Asia's first wooden boat that was primarily used as a trading ship until the colonial era. More specifically,
this design is a fusion of modern with a primary focus on the boat, which will represent both the history
and purpose of the barangay hall. Uses of neutral color and hints of earth tone will use as a color palette
in the interior and exterior facade of the building.

This concept was developed to construct a Barangay Hall with a distinct architectural style that
distinguishes it from a typical residential neighborhood while maintaining its purpose and elevated
convenience over other barangay hall designs.
