Sub: Quotation for providing General Pest Control Services & Rat Control Service to the common areas
of Society Building

Dear Sir,

This has reference to the subsequent discussion to your above site and the we had with you regarding the
subject cited above.

As TOTAL PEST CONTROL is introducing its Pest Management Services to your for the first time we are
pleased to inform you that we have worked out a very cost effective proposal on an Annual contract basis without
compromising on the quality of our services which you will experience in the near future.

GENERAL PEST CONTROL.

Pest covered :-
This treatment covers household pest’s viz. Cockroaches, red ants and black ants, Spider, silver fish.

SCOPE OF WORK
1. Treatment to the common areas of the society building.
This treatment comprises of application of a thorough insecticidal spray to the walls & floor of the stairways floor
lobby, external perimeter of entire building, drainages in compound area, pump room, meter room, society office,
lift room, etc. Infested by cockroaches / ants especially in all nooks, corners, cracks, crevices & other vulnerable
places harbouring cockroaches, red & black ants.
1. RODENT (RAT) CONTROL

This service is for management of rats, mice & bandicoots only.

Introduction:

1. Various species of rodents have different behaviour patterns and are very active at different times of day/night

2. Rodents are carriers of pathogens causing diseases like Leptospirosis, Salmonellosis, Plague, Typhus fever,
Trichinosis, etc

3. Rodents are omnipresent, capable of infesting any establishment be it food or beverage unit, hotel or
restaurant, bank or financial institution, go down, hospitals & nursing home, computer centre, pharmaceutical
company, residential premises, agricultural land, poultry farm, electric or general industry, shipping, airline &
can be found in any situation from cold storage facilities to hot deserts & coal mines to mountains

4. Rodents are intelligent, agile& adaptable creatures. Expert acrobats & swimmers they can easily climb through
open drainage pipes & rough surfaces of wall & tree branches near buildings.

5. Rodents are prolific breeders. The young attain sexual maturity within 6-8 weeks & with favourable feeding &
nesting conditions, a single pair can multiply rapidly to 800 in year. That’s why they are found in such large no.

SCOPE OF WORK:

This calls for a thorough knowledge of rodent behaviour, rodenticide and their proper use in planned manner by
highly trained and experienced technical personnel.

Our treatment primarily calls for the use of a relatively safe & highly effective single dose anticoagulant
rodenticide, (active ingredient Bormodiolone certified internationally as the best rodenticide in use);
Bormodiolone does not have the disadvantage that the other rodenticide has such as probating, secondary
poisoning & bait shyness. The product is in the form of waterproof wax blocks (cakes), highly attractive &
palatable to rodents.
 Baiting will be done as follows
1. Bait cakes will be placed in rodent burrows in the compound area of premises
2. Bait cakes will be placed in the rodent paper bait Trays which will be placed at strategic locations of premises
3. Rodent Glue traps, Wire cages will be used wherever felt necessary.
4. Tamper proof bait boxes will be placed outdoors at the wall & floor junction of external periphery of structures
with rodent bait placed within it which will be replenished during periodical visits. This outer chain of bait boxes
is an important element of a successful
Prevention plan. This buffer drastically reduces the intrusion of rodents and eliminates possible damage inside.

Introduction of these bait boxes have important advantages:

 The rodent bait cannot be taken away by unauthorized persons or cannot cause accidental
contamination of the production chain.

Similarly multi catch glue traps may also be used based on practical requirement.
