NEW SUBSIDIARY IN INDONESIA – PT. NOSAIRIS TEKNOLOGI SOLUTIONS

The Board of Directors of SMRT Holdings Berhad (“SMRT” or “the Company”) wishes to
announce that N’osairis Technology Solutions Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of
SMRT has on 22 June 2017 completed the setting up of a 90% owned subsidiary in
Indonesia namely, PT. NOSAIRIS TEKNOLOGI SOLUTIONS (“PT. NOSAIRIS”).

Information of PT. NOSAIRIS

PT. NOSAIRIS is incorporated on 11 November 2016 with an initial share capital of
Rp.3,957,000.00,000/-.

The principal activity of PT. NOSAIRIS is IT solutions related to telecommunication.

The first Director of PT. NOSAIRIS is Muhammad Kenny Laison.

The first Commissioner of PT. NOSAIRIS is Stalin Thangaiah Vijaya Kamaraj.

The shareholders of PT. NOSAIRIS and their respective shareholdings in PT. NOSAIRIS
as at the date of this announcement are as follows:

Financial Effects
The incorporation of PT. NOSAIRIS will not have any material effect on the share capital
and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of SMRT, and is not expected to have any
material effect on the earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing of the Group
for the financial year ending 31 December 2017.

Directors’ and Major Shareholders’ Interest

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of SMRT and/or persons connected with
them have any interest direct or indirect, in the above incorporation.

Statement by the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of SMRT is of the opinion that the above incorporation is in the
best interest of the Company.
