CHAPTER IV

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter overseen the presentation, analysis and interpretation of data


gathered by the researchers. This study aims to determine the impact of
Facebook to the Time Management Among the Grade-11 Students of Iligan Access
Technology, Inc. S.Y. 2020-2021.

The Pie graph above shows that 16.67%(5) of the respondents are 17 years old,
46.67%(14) of the respondents are 18 years old, 23.33%(7) of the respondents are
19 years old, 6.67%(2) of the respondents are 20 years old, and 6.67%(2) of the
respondents are 21 years old.

The bar graph above shows that 36.67%(11) of the respondents are using
Facebook 1-2 hours in a day, 46.67%(14) are using Facebook 3-4 hours in a
day, 10%(3) of the respondents answered that they used Facebook 5-6 hours
in a day, while 6.66%(2) of the respondents are using Facebook 7-above
hours in a day.

The bar graph above shows that the 76.67%(23) of the respondents
answered that Facebook was affecting their time management, while
23.33%(7) of the respondents answered that Facebook are not affecting their
time management.

The bar graph above shows that 40%(12) of the respondents answered that
the negative impact of using Facebook to their time management was
decrease time for modular learning, 10%(3) of the respondents answered
that the negative impact of using Facebook to their time management was
decrease quality time for the family, and 20%(6) of the respondents
answered that the negative impact of using Facebook to their time
management is affect the time that was already scheduled, while 30%(9) of
the respondents answered that the negative impact of using Facebook to
their time management are; impaired academic performances, decreased
quality time for God, etc.

The bar graph above shows that 46.67%(14) of respondents answered that
Facebook affecting their academic performances in a way of poor demonstration on
their academic performances, 53.33%(16) of respondents answered that Facebook
affecting their academic performances in a way of biggest distraction for trying their
homework done, and 0% for the others.

The bar graph above shows that 13.33%(4) of the students answered that
the common activities that they spend on Facebook is watching vlogs,
10%(3) of the respondents is for educational purposes, 13.33%(4) of the
respondents was posting updates, 13.33%(4) of the respondents was
watching news, 26.67%(8) of the respondents was for leisure, and 23.33%(7)
of the respondents answered “others” such as; playing Facebook games,
watching anime.
