A Short Story
by Random Writer
Chad Willis had always loved beautiful Exeter with its plain, powerless parks. It
was a place where he felt stressed.
He was an intelligent, down to earth, cocoa drinker with ugly legs and scrawny
elbows. His friends saw him as a moaning, manky muppet. Once, he had even revived a
dying, blind person. That's the sort of man he was.
Chad walked over to the window and reflected on his cosy surroundings. The snow
flurried like loving horses.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of
Daniel McCallister. Daniel was a loving ogre with dirty legs and solid elbows.
As Chad stepped outside and Daniel came closer, he could see the empty glint in his
eye.
Daniel gazed with the affection of 8045 callous hollow horses. He said, in hushed
tones, "I love you and I want affection."
Chad looked back, even more angry and still fingering the spotty hawk. "Daniel, I
just don't need you in my life any more," he replied.
They looked at each other with angry feelings, like two tame, tender tortoises
bopping at a very smelly bar mitzvah, which had jazz music playing in the
background and two delightful uncles shouting to the beat.
Chad regarded Daniel's dirty legs and solid elbows. "I feel the same way!" revealed
Chad with a delighted grin.
Daniel looked relaxed, his emotions blushing like a bewildered, boiling banana.
