Create a new Fleet

Fleets appear above the Home timeline. To create a
new Fleet, start by tapping your profile image.

Choose your format

From the Fleets composer, you will have the option to
toggle between text, video upload from your camera
roll, photo capture, or video recording. There are
plans to support additional formats such as live video.

Add a text overlay

On any photo or video whether recorded or uploaded
you have the option to add a text caption.

See viewers
From your Fleet you can see how many people have
viewed it and who viewed it too. Make sure you check
before the Fleet expires!

 Fleets: FAQs
Who can see my Fleets?
Your posts will appear at the top of the home
timeline for anyone following your account. They
are also accessible via your profile photo on your
profile page if for anyone to view if your account is
public.
How are accounts ordered?
The most recent Fleets from mutual follows are
prioritized first followed by recent Fleets from
accounts that are not mutual follows. This may
change over time.
Can a Fleet be shared?
There is no share option from Fleets except if you
are the author. Authors can Tweet out their own
Fleets.
What’s the max video duration?
Videos in Fleets have a 30 second limit.
Can Fleets be promoted?
Not at the moment.

Do Fleets support live video?
Not at the moment.
What are the media specs in Fleets?
The specifications are the same as a Tweet,
although you can only share 1 photo at a time
instead of 4.
What metrics are available?
You can see how many people have viewed your
Fleet.
Do hashtags or @username work in
Fleets?
The hashtag or @username will link and take you
to the search or profile page. However, a Fleet
with a hashtag will not appear in search results for
the hashtag. @username tagged in a Fleet will
receive a notification that they were mentioned.
Can I delete my Fleet?
Once you’ve created a post, tap on the ‘...’ button
to delete the post.
If I block someone can they see my
Fleets?
No. Blocked accounts will not be able to see your
Fleets.
Are Fleets integrated with Media Studio?
Not at the moment.
Can article links be included in Fleets?
Yes. You can just copy and paste an article URL
when composing your Fleet. When the link is
tapped it will open the webpage.
Can you report a Fleet?
Yes, tap the down arrow icon on any post to
report it like you would a Tweet.
If my DMs are closed can people react
to my Fleets?
Fleet reactions respect the DM rules. If your DMs
are closed then only people you follow can
respond to your Fleets via a DM.
