Analysis Report Management Decriptions

The objective of the module is to provide the operator and the
authority with the functionality to analyse data and generate
standard and customised reports in both textual and graphical
formats.
Functionality
(INFO)

Functionality
a) Inventory management, which shall include the automatic triggering of stock
recording, based on pre-defined minimum stock quantity. Other transactions shall
include as a minimum stock receipt, stock issue, stock return, stock reservation and
inter-store transfer.
b) Purchasing management, which shall include transactions on request of
quotations, creation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders for materials and
services.
c) Stock-taking management, which shall allow the users to configure and print
the reports that contain the selected stocks. The functions shall allow for
discrepancies to be tracked and adjusted before the closure of any stock take
transaction.
d) Stock allocation and retrieval management shall as minimum include:
i) Recommendation of the appropriate bin, box or pallet for storage of spares
and consumables.
ii) Recommendation of the appropriate bin, box or pallet for retrieval of spares
and consumables based on first in, first out concept to be issued.
e) The operator shall also be able to manually select another bin, box or pallet for
stock allocation and retrieval function.
f) The WPC shall coordinate with operator to define the storage algorithm for all
stocks.
g) The operator be able to select weather to inhibit transactions of spares and
consumables which had been selected for stock taking for the selected store(s).
others store which are not selected for the stock taking shall not affected.
h) Stock adjustment function shall also be provided for the operator to be able to
manually adjust storage details of the stock item such as stock quantity and storage
bins.
i) Stock reservation functions, which shall allow for the manual for automatic
reservation of spares and consumables based on the user requests or requirement
stated in the WO.
j) Message notifications shall be provided for the operator’s action when the
quantity of spares drop below the pre-defined quantity.
k) Barcode printing and scanning and facilities shall be provided for bin, box or
pallet for storage of spares and consumables.
l) All bin, box, pallet, spares and consumables shall be uniquely identified.
Creation of duplicated codes shall not be allowed.
m) Provide a comprehensive audit trail of all transactions performed in the
module.

Functionality
a) Track equipment movement, maintenance costs, service histories performance
and operational status of equipment down to Line-replaceable Unit (LRU) level.
b) Create hierarchies identifying operation locations of the equipment.
c) Create hierarchies identifying the parent and child equipment down to LRU
level.
d) Build failure code hierarchies to record equipment problems for engineering
analysis.
e) Track the warranty and warranty period of all equipment.
f) To endure creation of duplicate Equipment code shall not be allowed.
g) When moving a parent equipment from one location to another, the module
shall allow user choice of whether to also move the associated children equipment.
The data associated with the parent/children equipment shall be updated in the
database according to the selected choice.
h) It shall be possible to attach meter readings, such as runtime hours, train
mileage and power consumption to each registered equipment independently in
the parent-child hierarchy. When moving nay equipment within the hierarchy from
one location to another, the associated meter readings shall follow the equipment
to its new location.
i) Ability to keep track of calibration details for special equipment/tools.
j) Provide a comprehensive audit trail of all transactions performed and able to
present a summary table on-screen in daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis for
auditing purpose.
k) Provide spare data fields for the user to customise their own screens and
tables.
l) Allow attachment of documents.
m) Ability to perform export and import functions.

Functionality
a) Work Order functions which provides access to all pertinent information
required for the detail work planning, which shall include the required labour,
materials, tools, costs and Permit-To-Work (PTW). The users shall be able to specify
the priority level of the work.
b) Work request functions to allow the users to enter request for maintenance
work or automatically generated from alarms received from interfacing systems.
c) Automatic generation of WO for preventive maintenance based on the follow:
i) Scheduled date/time
ii) Meter and measurement reading (such as train mileage, runtime hour and
power consumption).
iii) Any combination (i) and (ii) above.
iv) Pre-define workflow procedures.
d) Allow users to mass release or delete multiple work request / WO at the same
time.
