What is smart protein project? Smart protein project is a four year project to develop
novel proteins using byproducts from pasta, bread, and beer production, Their aim is to
produce an entirely new range of sustainable, nutritious, and cost-e ective protein-rich
foods.

Smart protein are leaded by two doctors where they did many research from before with
that they help the projects they have knowledge and experience, As they did some
research from before it will help them to solve the question of how to get the richer-
protein in small amount of food as the population is increasing.

Smart protein have been supported by the the European Union's Horizon by funding 8
million and also have an agreement which well allow them to have stakeholders as it have
been supported by a Multi-annual Financial Framework, and also it have been supported
by 21 country’s all over the world most is from Europe.

Smart protein project is expected in 2025 to have their products rst wave in markets but
until now even though their is 2 years to go to markets, they have some of problems
which will not be solved any soon as the population is increasing even though they have a
lot of scientist and expert, and also they have a limited budget so they need to use it
wisely.

Smart protein have 33 partners, we can see that they have a lot of partners but are they
useful, as we see the rst partner they introduced was Equinon is a company which
advocates for biodiversity as the key to food security, and the last one was ProVeg
International they are working to transform the global food system by replacing animal-
based products with plant-based and cultured alternative, we could see that both will
help them as both are going with the aim or have the similar aim of the smart protein
project.

In conclusion I nd smart protein project will have successfully a Accomplish their task
but with more time and money, as they have past three years but still have the same
impediment.
