Let’s Remember
1. A clock has two hands - a short hand and a long hand.
2. The short hand is called the hour hand.
3. The long hand is called the minute hand.
4. The clock face is divided into two halves. Each half is half an hour.
5. When the minute hand is at 6 then we say, time is half past the hour.
6. 1 minute = 60 seconds
7. 1 hour = 60 minutes
8. Half-hour ( 1 hour ) = 30 minutes

1. There are 12 months in a year.
January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September,
October, November and December.
2. A year has 365 days.
3. A leap year has 366 days.
4. A leap year comes once in every 4 years.
5. A month has 30 or 31 days.
6 January, March, May July, August, October and December months have
31 days.
7. April, June, September and November months have 30 days.
8. February has 28 days in an ordinary year and 29 days in a leap year.
9. A week has 7 days.
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
10. A fortnight has 14 days.
