build trust among team members, which is essential for

What is the relationship

A good leader in the construction industry needs to have a
strong technical background, as well as the ability to make tough
decisions under pressure. They also need to be able to
communicate effectively with all members of the team
(professinalism), from the foreman to the site laborers. Because
Construction managers are responsible for ensuring that their
project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required
standard. In order to achieve this, they need to be able to lead
and motivate their team.
Why construction industry
needs a good leader?
Because the constructed product is critical to long-term national
socio-economic development in developing countries, poor
performance on construction projects has even more adverse
implications.
