1. The purpose of Prepare Me Theory is to assist the patient to find his inner peace and humanity while
experiencing while experiencing a life and death situation. This theory is to give supportive environment
to a patient that have a cancer or terminally-ill patient to attain a dignity to accept death with peace.
Also, to give their families the support that they need to cope.

The purpose of Theory of Nursing Practice and Career is to improve practice by positively influencing the
health and quality of life of patient.

2. By talking and listening to the patient; teaching her how to meditate to relax herself to lessen the
anxiety, pain and stress. Assisting the patient to understand and accept his/her situation to facilitate an
effective decision making and to help to enhance values.

3. Presence – Presence is a person to person contact between patient and nurse

Concern- Concern is can be developed in time through mutual trust between patients and nurses.
Stimulation- Nurse stimulation gives strength to the patients whenever nurses tell them or encourage
them to be strong for them to look forward.
