UKAS Letter For International Customers Final
I am pleased to announce that UKAS has just launched its new brand. We are extremely
proud of the UKAS brand and its heritage, and our refresh honours this whilst creating a
more modern image. Our updated brand represents our progression as a forward-thinking
organisation, whilst reflecting our longstanding commitment to quality, service and technical
expertise.
In particular I would like to bring to your attention the fact that not only have we refreshed our
website (www.ukas.com), but we have also updated our company logo (as shown at the top
of this letter) and the accreditation symbols that our customers use to demonstrate that they
hold UKAS accreditation (as shown below). We appreciate that it may take some time for
customers to update their systems to show the new symbol and hence have allowed
transition periods as shown below.
• Digital Materials – 1 year from launch (1st February 2022)
• Printed Materials – 2 years from launch (1st February 2023)
• Certificates – 3 years from launch (1st February 2024)
Therefore, please be aware that over the coming weeks you may start to see CAB reports
and certificates displaying the UKAS symbol which is different to what you are used to, and
that both new and old symbols will be valid over the next couple of years.
