Mr. Mustofa’s Biography Assignment

Mustofa Dahlan is an English teacher at SMAN 1 GENTENG, was born on 20th of

September 1962 in Jenisari. Students often call him Mr. Mustofa. He has 4 brothers and 5
sisters, which makes him as the last child in the family. Mr. Mustofa’s father is Hj. Moh.
Dahlan who sells primary goods and is a very religious man. Mr. Mustofa’s last name is
taken from his father’s name which makes him really proud of his father. Meanwhile, his
mother, namely Hjjh. Sofia is a housewife.

Mr. Mustofa’s childhood was full of fun, he often playing kite after school, doing a fun
football match at the field, swimming in the river, and other fun activities with his childhood
friends.

He started his study when he was 6 years old. But he didn’t enroll at a kindergarten because
it was unavailable in his neighbourhood, so he went to elementary school directly. He
attended it at MI NURUL HUDA JENISARI for 5 years and moved to school near RTH
Maron. He continued in SMPN 1 GENTENG for 3 and a half years because there was a
changing starting time which was on July 1979, not in January on the same year.

He had a unique experience when he was doing the enrollment test. After Mr. Mustofa did
the test, he was travelling. He wasn’t sure about the result and then the committee gave him
the result of Mr. Mustofa’s test. After that, he got accepted. He continued his mid-school life
in SMPN 1 GENTENG. One time, he got punished for watching a boxing match. His
punishment was he had to run around the school.

Later on, he got accepted as a student in SMAN 1 GENTENG, it is the most favourite
school in Genteng. He took science major.
