REVIEW VERB TENSE

1 - PRESENT OF TO BE (AM/IS/ARE)
- Significa os verbos "SER" e "ESTAR";

- AM / IS / ARE

Ex1: I'm in the line.

- You're one of a kind.

Ex2: She isn't a teacher.

- I'm not 22 years old.

Ex3: Are they your parents?

- Are you my mom?

2 - PRESENT CONTINUOUS (AM/IS/ARE)

-​- Ação que começa no Presente e tem continuidade.

- "Estar fazendo algo"

- Now / Right now/ At this moment

Suj + am/is/are + verb "ing" + comp

Ex1: I'm waiting for my consult.

- I'm waiting for my class to finish to eat my breakfast

Suj + am/is/are + not + verb "ing" + comp

Ex2: He isn't playing any sports.

- She isn't eating the soup.

- She isn't being in a good mood.

Am/Is/Are + suj + verb "ing" + comp

Ex3: Are they still sleeping?

- Are you still living in Victoria?

3 - SIMPLE PRESENT (DO​( I/YOU/WE/THEY​/

- Rotina / Frequência

- Fatos no Presente (I don't like broccoli)

* Quando o sujeito for "HE/SHE/IT", coloca-se "s" ou "es" ao

final do verbo. (APENAS NA AFIRMATIVA)

* DOES - Quando houver o "does" na frase, não iremos colocar

"s" ou "es".

5 - PAST CONTINUOUS (WAS / WERE)

- AÇÃO NO PASSADO QUE INTERROMPE OUTRA AÇÃO
TAMBÉM NO PASSADO QUE GERALMENTE ESTÁ NO
SIMPLE PAST OU PAST CONTINUOUS;

- USADO TAMBÉM PARA INDICAR QUE ALGUM FENÔMENO

NATURAL ACONTECEU NO PASSADO.
