1. "Close the door, John," said Joe.

Reported: Said Joe said that John could close the door.

2. "Can you translate this sentence for me, Suzy?" asked Jinyoung.
Reported: Jinyoung asked that Zusy can translate this sentence.

3. "Would you mind passing me the sugar?" asked Helen.

Reported: Helen asked if I would mind passing her the sugar.

4. "Please give this book to Tom", said Mia.

Reported: Mia said please give this book to Tom.

5. Don't call me at midnight," said Jackson.

Reported: Jackson said don't call me in the middle of the night.

6. "Can I borrow your book, Helen?", asked Chan

Reported: Chan asked Helen if he could lend her the book.
7. "You should go to the dentist as soon as possible," Jennie said to Mia.
Reported: Jennie told Mia you should go to the dentist as soon as possible.

8. "You shouldn't eat too many sweets," said Karl to Carol.

Reported: Karl told Carol you shouldn't eat too many sweets.

You should practice your pronunciation more, Tom," said Mr. Joe.
Reported: Joe told Tom you should practice your pronunciation more.

10. "Give me your phone number, Helen," said Chan.

Reported: Chan said to Helen give me your phone number.

11. "Don't put too much salt in my soup, Mark," said Johnny.
Reported: Johnny said Mark don't put too much salt in my soup.

12. "Please close the door," said Henry to Lucas.

Reported: Henry said to Lucas please close the door.
